• The role you'll contribute : \n\nResponsible for providing direct and indirect nursing care to groups of patients using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This position delivers patient-centered care by collaborating with physicians, patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care. Additionally, this role administers medications and treatments as prescribed, monitors patient responses, and adjusts care plans as needed. In addition, this position supervises and teaches other personnel in the theory and performance of nursing acts, ensuring compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations and accrediting body standards. Responsibilities for this role include maintaining high standards of care, promoting wellness, and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the healthcare team.\n
• The value you'll bring to the team : \n\nDevelop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and medical diagnoses.\n\nAdminister medications and treatments accurately as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.\n\nMonitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions, adjusting care plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.\n\nProvide education and counseling to patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies.\n\nCollaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.\n
• The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed : \n\n+ Minimum qualifications : \n\n+ Education : \n\n+ Associates in Nursing Required\n\n+ Bachelors in Nursing - Preferred\n\n+ Work Experience : \n\n+ 1 acute care hospital experience Preferred\n\n+ Licenses and Certifications : \n\n+ Registered Nurse License - Required\n\n+ Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS)\n\n+ Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS)\n\nThis facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
