Telemetry RN Job Details Location : Austin, Texas 78704 Assignment Length : 13 weeks Start Date : January 4, 2026 End Date : April 5, 2026 Shift : 12-hour day shifts (7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM) Hours per Week : 36 Unit : Telemetry Unit (34 beds, 7-South floor) Patient Ratio : 1 : 6 (may be 1 : 5) Dress Code : Navy scrubs On-Call : Not required Weekends : Every other weekend Estimated Weekly Salary : $1,360 - $1,460 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry or Medical-Surgical nursing experience Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Proficiency with telemetry monitoring equipment (GE Telemetry, Welch Allyn Vital Signs) Experience with EMR systems (MediTech preferred) Strong communication and team collaboration skills Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and TNCC certifications preferred Telemetry RN Responsibilities Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to telemetry patients Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs using clinical support tools Administer medications and perform routine nursing procedures Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and patient care technicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes Utilize wound vacs, CPM machines, external fixation, and bracing as needed Accurately document patient care in the EMR system Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive healthcare environment Participate in unit meetings and foster a positive team culture Join our award-winning healthcare team recognized for Daisy and ICARE excellence.
