Requirements : Position Summary

The Ultrasound Sales Representative is responsible for driving new business and maintaining existing customer relationships within a defined territory. This role focuses on consultative selling of our diagnostic ultrasound systems into hospitals, outpatient imaging centers, physician offices, and specialty practices. The ideal candidate thrives in an entrepreneurial setting, is self-motivated, and has a proven ability to close capital equipment deals in a competitive healthcare landscape.

Location : Central California : Fresno, Bakersfield, Visalia, San Luis Obispo, Modesto, Monterey, Southern California : Los Angeles County, Orange County, San Diego County, Riverside County (Inland Empire), San Bernardino County, Arizona. Applicants from Phoenix are encouraged to apply!

Essential Functions

New Business Development (40%)

  • Prospect and qualify new customers through cold calling, networking, referrals, and market intelligence.

Drive the full sales cycle from lead generation through demonstration, negotiation, and closing.

  • Develop territory strategies to exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Account Management (25%)
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clinical and administrative decision-makers.

  • Deliver post-sale support in collaboration with service and applications teams.
  • Monitor account satisfaction and identify opportunities for upsell or cross-sell.
  • Product Demonstration & Clinical Support (15%)
  • Conduct hands-on product demonstrations and collaborate with clinical applications specialists.

  • Provide ongoing education and product knowledge to customers and stakeholders.
  • Territory & Pipeline Management (10%)
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and customer data.

  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to position solutions effectively.
  • Collaboration & Internal Communication (10%)
  • Coordinate with Marketing, Service, and Customer Support to deliver a seamless customer experience.

  • Provide feedback to internal teams to support product development and customer success.
  • Qualifications

    Required :

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience in capital medical equipment, ideally in diagnostic imaging or ultrasound
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regionally (up to 60%)
  • Preferred :

  • Clinical knowledge of ultrasound applications and imaging workflows
  • Experience selling to hospitals, imaging centers, and physician-owned clinics
  • Background in navigating capital budget approvals and complex buying cycles
