The Leonardo DRS Naval Power Systems business is a trusted provider of innovative naval gas and hybrid power systems, control technology and support solutions for the U.S. Navy and navies around the world. Join our Program Management Office (PMO) in Menomonee Falls, WI! This is a paid summer college intern opportunity in our Programs organization. PMO interns work closely with and assist staff with various assignments. The summer intern program consists of 10-12 weeks of hands-on, real world experience in a career development environment. Participation in the intern program gives preference for future semesters as an intern / co-op within DRS Naval Power Systems. A typical student will participate in 2+ semesters as an intern / co-op at DRS throughout their junior and senior years. Our summer interns get to take advantage of our 9 / 80 schedule which allows for every other Friday off AND you can participate in the 401(K) with our generous company match!

What You Will Do

• Carry out basic work instructions that will help in understanding the fundamentals of the company and allow you to learn new things
• Gather and assemble data for program managers
• Observe customer requirements and learn more about how DRS supports the customer and our Navy partners
• May be required to help in research in a particular field
• Perform a wide variety of tasks to gain familiarity with the program management staff, methods, programs and practices
• Work cross-functionally to understand how the PMO interacts with Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, and Quality
