The Role
The Social Media Manager is responsible for leading the development and execution of our social media and community engagement strategies. This role is responsible for establishing a cohesive social vision, managing day-to-day channel activity, and cultivating meaningful relationships with audiences across both owned and external platforms.
Day in the Life
- Define and execute the overall social media and community strategy aligned with business goals.
- Manage daily operations of core channels (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, etc.), ensuring consistent voice, tone, and cadence.
- Develop and implement a social content strategy that balances brand storytelling, campaign activation, and community engagement.
- Own community management : listen, respond, and engage across managed properties as well as external channels (e.g., Yelp, Reddit, forums, review platforms).
- Monitor and report on social performance, surfacing insights and opportunities for growth.
- Partner with marketing leadership to integrate social into the broader digital ecosystem (web, email, paid media, events).
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on content creation, campaign execution, and channel innovation.
- Oversee paid social campaigns from planning to optimization, ensuring efficiency and measurable ROI.
What You’ll Need
4–7 years of experience in social media / community management with demonstrated impact.Experience managing paid social campaigns across platforms.Background in content strategy and cross-channel storytelling.Experience working with analytics tools (e.g., Sprout, Hootsuite, native platform insights).Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field preferred.What Will Set You Apart
