$20.40 / hr - $36.10 / hr

Associate Producer , you will collaborate with producers in the newsroom to craft compelling stories. Your creativity and upbeat attitude will be essential as you tackle various topics and tell character-driven stories. Alongside the team, you’ll represent what’s happening in your community and engage and connect with our local audience for our team partners (e.g. Dodgers & Lakers).

Required Qualifications

Experience : Editorial production of sports - 1-2 years

Education : High school diploma

Technical Skills : Knowledge of current events, sports, social media, and industry trends

Skills : Ability to collaborate, news writing skills, and attention to detail

Schedule : Ability to work different shifts and be flexible with schedule changes

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in sports journalism preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism or related field, comparable television work experience preferred

Working knowledge of general office computer software, newsroom software, and basic non‑linear editing systems

May be required to lift up to five pounds

Working Conditions

Works primarily inside a climate-controlled environment throughout the year but might be assigned field duties on occasion
