License : NBSTSA

Certifications : BLS (AHA)

Must-Have :

Experience with Ortho (total joints), Urology, Vascular, and General Surgery.

Highly comfortable and proficient in these service lines.

Description :

COVID vaccinations are strongly encouraged, but not required.

Surgical Technologist assists nursing staff with patient care in the surgical suite within the limits described in their job description.

Works under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Assists the surgical team during operative procedures.

Arranges and inventories sterile set-ups for operations, passing items as needed to the operating team.

Assists in preparing and moving patients, and in cleaning the operating room theater.

Prepares specimens for analysis.

The patient population includes pediatric to adult.

Types of procedures include Neuro, Ortho, ENT, Thoracic, Vascular, General, and Gynecology.

Average procedures per day are approximately 50.

Requested time off during the course of this assignment must be noted and verified at upload.

No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted.

Travelers' permanent address must be included in the profile and must match the driver's license or state ID.

Address validation will occur during the compliance process.

Prior travel experience is highly preferred.

A supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment is required.

All license and certifications must be uploaded with the profile.
