JOB TITLE : Customer Service Associate – Part Time
SHIFT SCHEDULE : Varies
DEPT / LOCATION : 205 S. Stephanie St., Henderson, NV 89012
REPORTS TO : Retail Store Manager
The Customer Service Associate (CSA) is responsible for providing prompt, efficient, and courteous, quality service to all customers. This includes operating a cash register, greeting customers, assisting with fuel dispensers, cash handling, light janitorial duties, and other duties as assigned.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide friendly service to customers
- Greet and assist customers
- Operate cash register to enter convenience store and gasoline purchases (assistance will be available if needed)
- Account for all monies, cigarettes, and lottery tickets on assigned shift
- Check the expiration date and face-off product
- Follow proper safety protocols and procedures
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of the shiftRegularly lift and or move up to 20-50 poundsMust be comfortable working in a convenience store environmentMust maintain a professional appearance and abide by the Dress Code PolicyMust maintain a professional and friendly demeanor towards customers and fellow employeesDaily exposure to gasoline and oil productsFast-paced environmentREQUIREMENTS
Must be 21 years of age or olderMust be flexible to work various schedulesMust have the ability to accurately handle moneyMust have strong attention to detailMust possess excellent verbal and written communication skillsMust have excellent customer service skillsMust be capable of effectively communicating with customers and co-workersMust be able to work independently and be self-motivatedMust be able to do simple math such as counting, recording, addition, subtraction, and multiplicationBecause we sell alcohol and have gaming on site, the state of Nevada requires our employees to have a Responsible Alcohol Training Card or TAM (Techniques of Alcohol Management) card .Applicants must have a current Responsible Alcohol Training Card or TAM card at the time of hire.
A current Responsible Alcohol Training Card or TAM card must be obtained and renewed at your own expense by completing the required training through the Nevada Department of Taxation or an authorized provider.Applicants are eligible to be hired without a current Responsible Alcohol Training Card or TAM card if they can show proof that they have taken the test and can show evidence of having done so with a temporary certificate while they await the original.
