Your Role on the Team

Position Summary :

The incumbent will perform basic medical, technical and administrative support services for the Plastic Surgery Clinic. The incumbent will provide supervision to Plastic Surgery including; annual evaluations and training modules to ensure competency. The incumbent will partner with the equipment and supply coordinator to maintain departmental supplies, including special supplies and central supply orders; developing working relationships with vendors regarding equipment, supplies and services. Other duties include and are not limited to managing the patient flow during operating hours, ensuring adequate staffing ratio to maintain appropriate levels of safety and service. Incumbent will also work closely with the Manager to encourage and facilitate staff engagement and supervise employee performance. Incumbent will also be the resource member for Plastic Surgery staff and faculty

What It Takes to be Successful

Required Qualifications :

• Understanding of medical terminology
• Strong customer service orientation with an ability to interact effectively with all levels including staff, senior management, physicians, patients, and families
• Previous supervisory experience
• Previous experience as a LVN
• Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
• Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Current California LVN license
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
