Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license

Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry nursing experience

Current and valid BLS certification

Ability to work 12-hour night shifts

Excellent communication and critical thinking skills

Dedication to delivering compassionate, patient-centered healthcare

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs for Telemetry unit patients

Administer prescribed medications and treatments

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop individualized care plans

Educate and support patients and families regarding cardiac conditions and treatments

Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes

Respond promptly and effectively to changes in patient condition
