Entry-level position working under supervision to deliver specialized cardiovascular and / or radiologic technology services to adult and / or pediatric patients.
Provides safe, high quality, efficient, and cost-effective patient-centric care in various care settings including acute inpatient facilities, outpatient physician practices, diagnostic / urgent care centers, and remote statewide outreach clinics.
Prepares patients for procedures and correlates clinical history with physician orders.
Communicates and collaborates with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care team members to achieve clinical outcomes and operational goals.
Utilizes specialized cardiovascular and / or radiologic equipment and techniques for diagnostic, interventional, and / or surgical procedures.
Conducts post-procedure reviews to ensure completion, documentation, and technical quality per department protocols and accreditation standards.
Transfers images and data to archival systems, enters technical data / findings, and prepares studies for physician reporting.
Performs operator-level quality control, cleaning, high-level disinfecting, and maintenance per manufacturer and regulatory guidelines.
Participates in continuing education, professional development, and research activities to maintain competencies and improve care.
