Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow the ophthalmology service in collaboration with hospital leadership.
  • Provide expert ophthalmic care, including diagnostics, treatment plans, and surgical procedures.
  • Educate and mentor support staff to build a high-functioning, specialty-ready team.
  • Collaborate with specialists across departments to provide comprehensive care.
  • Build relationships with referring veterinarians and foster strong client communication.
  • Qualifications

  • DVM or equivalent degree
  • Board certification or residency training in veterinary ophthalmology
  • Passion for leadership, service development, and collaboration
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
