Job Summary :
The Cath Lab Tech is responsible for assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures. This includes equipment setup, scrubbing procedures, monitoring patients, and recognizing life-threatening arrhythmias. The role requires on-call availability and the ability to work with middle and older adult patients in an acute care, Level I trauma center environment.

Responsibilities :
- Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Set up equipment and scrub for procedures.
- Monitor patients during procedures.
- Recognize life-threatening arrhythmias.
- Assist with Cardiac Implant Closure Device, Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Catheterizations Adult, IABP Placement / Removal, Left heart catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA), Right heart catheterization, Rotablader athrectomy.
- Maintain infection control standards, including isolation precautions and sterile technique.
- Perform equipment setup.
- Recognize life-threatening arrhythmias.
Required Skills & Certifications :
Minimum 1 year of experience in a Cath Lab.ACLS certification.BLS certification.ARRT certification.RCIS certification.Experience in Diagnostic Cardiac Cath lab and Interventional Cardiac Cath lab.Experience with Cardiac Implant Closure Device, Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Catheterizations Adult, IABP Placement / Removal, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Left heart catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA), Right heart catheterization, Rotablader athrectomy, Scrub Procedures.Experience with Equipment setup, Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias.Experience with Isolation Precautions, Sterile Technique.Experience with Middle and Older Adult patients.Cerner experience.Active license to apply.Preferred Skills & Certifications :

On-call required as needed, rotating with staff and agency.Call frequency details to be discussed with manager, flexible per census.Will work 2-3 weekends per contract.Ideally no more than 5 days RTO.Scheduling :
13-26 week contract.4x12 Days (0630-1900) open to any shift, 5x8s, 3x12, 4x12s, 4x10s.Schedule requests can be discussed with the manager.
