The Sports Performance Coach is responsible for personal training, small group training sessions and implementing sport performance programs for assigned academy teams.

Essential Job Functions
Demonstrate and coach members on the proper use of equipment and safe technique when trainingActively market and promote personal training to acquire new members and retain existing membersConduct client interviews and council members and guests in order to create a positive and enjoyable experienceDesign and implement custom one-on-one / small group training programsAssess and evaluate member progress and provide feedback and recommendationsReports to the Head Strength and Conditioning CoachRequirements :
21 years of age or olderBachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, CPT, CSCS certification, or 5 years’ experience in Sports Performance TrainingAvailability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and / or holidays as neededDependable transportation to and from workLanguage skills : Fluent knowledge of the English language; including the ability to read and interpret written information and speak and understand verbal communicationAbility to fulfill the physical requirements of the position with any reasonable accommodations as necessaryAuthorized to work in the United StatesCertificate of liability insurancePreferred Qualifications
CPR / First Aid CertifiedPrevious personal training experienceHighly dependable with a history of consistent attendance and punctualityDemonstrates a positive and friendly attitude towards guests, customers, and fellow employees. Work environment : Upbeat, high-energy sports and event complex with heavy foot traffic and frequent large crowds. The team member will primarily work in the Sports Performance fitness area.Physical requirements : While performing the duties of this job, the team member will be regularly required to perform physical activity that includes moving about the work area, standing, sitting, bending, reaching with hands and arms, lifting, pushing, pulling, talking, hearing and smelling. The team member will be frequently required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. He or she is required to have the visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.Lifting requirements : The team member will occasionally be required to lift, push, pull, lower and / or move up to 10 lbs regularly, and frequently up to 50 lbs repeatedly as required to instruct members on the use of strength equipment.Noise Level : The noise level in this environment is typically moderate to loud.
