ABA (applied behavior analysis) therapy takes place in several different environments; child’s home, clinic (playroom), school and community. The ABA treatment plan is designed and supervised by a qualified member of our team. The BT provides instruction and reinforcement to enable the child to obtain and preserve skills that will allow him / her to function with greater independence in society and at home.We offer above average compensation. Responsibilities :
Provide one on one therapy to children who are diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and / or other related disorders
Implement the treatment plan as directed by the supervisor
Record and graph data
Attend required trainings, supervision, and workshops
Maintain a high level of professionalism including appearance, punctuality, and communication with all stakeholders
Lift 50 lbs
Minimum Level of Education :
Have completed at least a high school diploma or equivalent
Competency :
Either possess or be able to obtain a credential through the required regulatory board within three weeks of hire (we guide this process and furnish application fees and exam fees)
Must have a valid driver’s license
Pass a federal, state, and county criminal background check
Must have full coverage automobile insurance
Work Experience :
Experience working with children is preferred. Training is provided
Other qualifications :
Availability to see clients until at least 5 : 30pm
Ability to lift 50 or more pounds
