Medicaid Biller – Full Time

Pay Range $23-$25 / hour

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Medicaid Biller to join our Business Office team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring accurate billing, timely collections, and compliance with all Medicaid and third-party payor regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and submit Medicaid billing for multiple facilities in accordance with NYS and federal regulations.

Reconcile payments and remittances to ensure timely posting and resolution of outstanding balances.

Research, analyze, and correct billing discrepancies or denials.

Communicate with Medicaid representatives, residents’ families, and facility staff to resolve issues.

Maintain organized records and documentation to ensure compliance and audit readiness.

Collaborate closely with the Business Office Manager and interdisciplinary teams to support revenue cycle goals.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred.

Medicaid billing experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting prefered .

Strong understanding of Medicaid regulations, EHR systems, and electronic billing portals.

Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
