GY6 is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Kina'ole Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit established to benefit Native Hawaiian communities.

Job Description : This position will be responsible for the petroleum and fuels repair / construction projects in development and management of operations within the commercial / industrial and federal markets. This position includes being responsible for the management of all assigned site and project activities, including business development, project management, coordination and efficient utilization of tools & equipment as well support supervision & development of all Mechanical fuels' repair / construction personnel both craft & regular labor. Development of SOPs for standard tasks performed in the field in coordination with Safety and QC professionals.

Minimum Requirements-Qualifications

  • 6 years minimum experience in the Mechanical petroleum and DOD / aviation fuels repairs / construction related industry, including 3 years' experience in the estimating and design of petroleum and fuels projects, management of field crews, equipment, financial responsibility, and project execution.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Six (6) years' experience in Construction Management, Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Chemical), or related technical fields; or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline and two (2) years of progressively responsible related experience; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Experience with Primavera scheduling a plus.
  • Additional important Information about this position :

  • Physical ability to oversee project activities as related to the position, including travel to project sites. Must be able to walk and negotiate areas in and around fueling equipment at military & commercial installations. Candidates must successfully pass standard pre-employment physical examination, drug and background screens and have the ability to use safety and respiratory protection equipment as required.
