Position Title : Sr Analyst, Clinical Contracts
Work Location : Irvine, CA, 92614
Assignment Duration : 4 Months
Work Schedule : Standard office hours (8 : 00 am PT to 5 : 00 pm PT), slight flexibility
Work Arrangement : Hybrid – Onsite Tuesdays + one additional day of candidate’s choice
Position Summary :
The main function of a clinical contracts analyst is to initiate, draft, redline, and negotiate 3rd party complex contracts based on full knowledge of financial, regulatory and clinical requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to provide guidance on contracts terms and conditions. Identify risks and key stakeholders to the company
- Develop, assess and improve processes for tracking and reporting business unit payment and compensation information to meet all applicable regulations and processes
- May track business unit and payment milestones against contract terms. Resolve payment queries and confirm contract compliance

- Analyze need for contract amendments or renewals and make recommendations, and / or negotiate changes, to terms and conditions
Qualification & Experience :
Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word and ability to operate general office machineryExcellent written and verbal communication skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectivesDemonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skillsFull knowledge and understanding of Edwards policies, procedures and guidelines relevant to contract negotiation and administrationFull knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare regulations (e.g. HIPAA and Sunshine Act)Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Project, PowerPoint, Excel, and WordExcellent written and verbal communications skillsAdvanced problem-solving skillsAbility to manage confidential information with discretionStrict attention to detailAbility to interact professionally with all organizational levelsAbility to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environmentMust be able to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams and key contact representing the organization on contracts or projectsBachelor's Degree or equivalent in related field5-7 years of experience required
