A leading U.S. manufacturer of electrical connectors is looking for a Sales Support Representative to join their Sales Department in Centerbrook, CT. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity designed for someone with business-to-business (B2B) experience who's ready to grow within a stable, respected company.

Hours & Pay

Pay : $18.00 - $20.00 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule : Monday - Friday | 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM | 1st Shift

Employment Type : Temp-to-Hire

What You'll Do

  • Answer and route incoming phone calls professionally
  • Monitor shared inboxes (Orders and Quotes) and respond accurately to customer inquiries
  • Provide basic product information, pricing, and order status updates
  • Confirm and clarify customer purchase orders as needed
  • Enter and validate orders in the ERP system, ensuring accuracy in pricing and shipping
  • Assist with returns (RMA) and maintain customer records
  • Proactively follow up on open quotes and pending orders
  • Support team members with administrative tasks and special projects
  • Build product knowledge and participate in process improvement initiatives

  • Previous experience in a B2B environment is required
  • Customer service, inside sales, or order entry experience preferred
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and strong computer proficiency
