About The Position

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician for a full-time evening shift (11 : 00 AM – 7 : 30 PM, 5x8) starting September 9th. The role involves decontamination, sterilization, and preparation of surgical instruments and equipment for use in an acute hospital OR setting. Must be skilled in high-level disinfection, scope reprocessing, and compliance with all sterilization standards.

Job Requirements

Requirements :

Minimum 2 years recent sterile processing experience in an acute care hospital

IAHCSMM / HSPA certification required

Endoscope reprocessing certification preferred

Proficient in :

Decontamination & high-level disinfection procedures

Sterilization equipment (washers, ultrasonic cleaners, steam sterilizers, Sterrad)

Scope and probe reprocessing (bronchoscopes, colonoscopes, EGD, ERCP)

Assembly & organization of surgical trays for multiple specialties (cardiac, ortho, robotics, OB / GYN, etc.)

Biological and chemical indicator testing / monitoring

On-call : 8 hrs every 6 weeks (Sunday)

Weekend : 8 hrs every 6 weekends (Saturday)

First-time travelers : Not accepted
