Music & Movement Classroom Teacher – Part-Time In-Person | Pasadena | Starting at $30 / hr
Encore Music, a thriving and community-rooted music school with two vibrant locations, is excited to welcome a new Classroom Teacher to work with students on the Autism Spectrum! This position is ideal for a passionate educator or musician who wants to make a real difference—and it can also be a perfect stepping stone for someone who may later pursue Board Certification in Music Therapy (MT-BC).
Responsibilities
- You’ll be leading Tuesday and Thursday classroom sessions at a school for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), using music and movement to support social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
- Board Certification is not required to start, but prior experience working with special needs populations is strongly preferred.
- Your Role : Lead engaging, goal-oriented music and movement sessions tailored to students with ASD
- Collaborate with school staff to adapt activities and meet individual needs
- Create a safe, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment
Compensation
