Description :

Anesthesia Technician position available with Monday to Friday schedule only.

No call, holidays, or weekends required.

Standard hours from 9 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM with occasional late nights until 7 : 00 PM based on procedures.

Under limited direct supervision, assist in the care of patients undergoing anesthesia.

Responsibilities include preparation of anesthesia equipment prior to the patient's arrival.

Place anesthesia monitors and ensure the cleanliness of anesthesia equipment.

Ensure the availability of specialized anesthesia equipment and supplies.

Assist clinicians with difficult intubations and central line catheter placements.

Operate the cell saver machine and keep track of lab reports.

Participate in advanced surgical cases such as cardiac, liver transplant, vascular, thoracic, and trauma.

Provide primary support in ensuring that anesthesia equipment is in good working order.

Complete preventive maintenance and perform advanced troubleshooting on equipment.

Assist in the development and implementation of in-service training programs.

Participate in training staff on the roles and responsibilities of an anesthesia technologist.

Perform anesthesia equipment set up and troubleshooting.

Set up rooms between cases and ensure proper equipment for out-of-OR procedures.

Provide backup to the shift supervisor in their absence.

Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or operations manager.
