Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry. This segment is classified into two main product groupings carrier network and enterprise network.

Role Purpose

This role will be to coordinate and ensure that shipments of goods are organized and delivered to our customers on time and are properly recorded in our systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Work in a team environment to coordinate the packing of customer and internal orders.
• Communicate shipment requirements to team.
• Perform final accuracy check on shipping paperwork to prevent shipping errors.
• Process shipment paperwork using PeopleSoft.
• Work with carriers to schedule / modify pick-ups, obtain shipment data, file customs paperwork and resolve issues.
• Process small package shipments using UPS / FEDEX software.
• Work with Customer Service, Planning, and IT for shipment changes / issues.
• Review and send out daily switcher needs for North Dock.
• Assist with documentation updates as needed.
• This position is Monday Friday with a rotation of hours :
• Rotation #1 : Start time at 5 : 30a (8 hours or until completion)
• Rotation #2 : Start time at 6 : 45a (8 hours or until completion)
• Rotation #3 : Start time of 8 : 00a (8 hours or until completion)

This position does not support immigration sponsorship. The range for this position is $40,313.00 - $55,431.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
