Oversees daily operations within the department; ensuring production goals are met with a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. Coordinates team activities, monitors machine performance, troubleshoots process issues, and supports continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with injection molding equipment, a solid understanding of mold setup and maintenance, and proven leadership skills to guide and develop a high-performing team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

General Overview :

• Inspects products to verify conformance to specifications and directs setup and adjustments of machines.
• Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment.
• Interprets specifications, and job orders to workers, and assigns duties.
• Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
• Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
• Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew.
• Maintains time and production records.
