PS Companies is seeking an experienced Med Surg RN for an opening based in Wausau, WI. This is a full time 13 week travel contract position.

Schedule : 4x12 Variable shift, rotating between days and nights ever week or two weeks

Float Requirements :  To all inpatient units; would be given appropriate patient assignments .

Unit Overview (Patient ratio, etc.) : Nurse to pt ratio : day / pm 1 : 4 or 5, nights 1 : 5- 7 Fast paced post-surgical unit that averages 10-15 admissions per day with the highest occurring on Day / PM.  Occupancy of unit is90-95 % during the week with average length of stay 2 – 3 days (except joints).

Requirements include, but are not limited to :

WI or Compact RN License

2+ years Med Surg experience

Trauma Level II experience

Travel experience

Epic experience

BLS (AHA) Certification
