Position Summary

The Barback at Rusty Rail Brewing Company plays a vital support role in ensuring the bar team operates efficiently and delivers an exceptional guest experience. This position is responsible for maintaining stock levels, cleanliness, and organization behind the bar; assisting bartenders during busy service periods; preparing server beers and cocktails; and helping uphold Rusty Rail's standards of quality, speed, and hospitality.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, hardworking, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.

Key Responsibilities

1. Bar Setup and Stock Management

• Prepare and stock all bar stations before each shift with necessary items (beer, liquor, wine, mixers, ice, glassware, garnishes, napkins, etc.).
• Prepare server beers and cocktails according to Rusty Rail recipes and standards.
• Refill and rotate stock throughout service to ensure seamless bartender operation.
• Maintain accurate par levels and communicate low or out-of-stock items to management.
• Restock kegs and ensure proper beer line function and cleanliness.
• Transport and organize product from storage areas and coolers to bar locations.
