We are seeking a General Manager to oversee and lead the food program and IFM partnership at a premier client site in Mineral, VA. This hybrid role combines culinary expertise, IFM collaboration, operational leadership, and client engagement.

The General Manager will oversee all aspects of the food program and IFM collaboration, serving as the primary point of contact with the client. Responsibilities include coordinating daily food and facility operations, supporting cross-functional IFM initiatives, aligning with workplace experience goals, and collaborating with facilities, janitorial, and maintenance teams to deliver an integrated service experience.

The ideal candidate will have strong culinary and financial management skills combined with a working knowledge of IFM operations, including facilities coordination, service delivery standards, and workplace experience integration. This position requires excellent communication and leadership skills to align the food program and IFM operations with client expectations while driving operational excellence.

What You'll Do :

• Oversee all aspects of dining operations, including cafe and catering services.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing culinary and service team.
• Ensure achievement of financial goals and targets.
• Design innovate menus and introduce new culinary concepts.
• Foster strong client and guest relationships through visible leadership.
• Manage purchasing, inventory, and financial reporting (with the support of Compass resources).
• Ensure quality, safety, and sanitation standards are consistently met.
• Is well versed in all aspects of foodservice management, with a proven track record of success.
• Is proactive and positive; interacts professionally with a diverse group of associates, peers, managers, suppliers, clients and customers.
• Demonstrates initiative and good judgement in assisting customers, clients, peers and subordinates.
• Audits units to ensure conformance with the Company, government and accrediting agency standards, regulations and codes regarding food storage, preparation, sanitation and record keeping.
