Job description

Job Description :

  • Key member of dedicated product improvement teams.
  • Develops and creates post market quality analytics to lead product improvement teams to recognize and solve quality related issues in a timely manner.
  • Lead in the development, maintenance, and reporting on Quality System processes within Master Control, JDE Edwards E-1 and internal generated software systems.
  • May lead or assist in root cause analysis for quality related issues.
  • Also, will help develop and maintain a statistical based preventative quality system for production.

Essential Functions :

  • Lead dedicated product improvement teams
  • Develop and create quality related analytics for major product lines.
  • Analyze and create metrics for statistical process control of critical to quality specifications
  • Establish, maintain and track the appropriate measurements of post market quality (warranty, RMA, CAPA, defects, etc.) for assigned product lines.
  • Work with management to develop monthly reports based on overall product quality
  • Compare post market data to production / supplier data to lead preventative actions.
  • Conduct, manage or participate in internal and external audits
  • Coordinate and lead product registrations with Marketing and Sales.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager
  • Required Education and Experience :

  • BS degree in Engineering or other technical field required OR 10+ years of relevant experience in an associated field.
  • 5+ years' of experience with ISO 13485 and / or ISO 9001 Quality Systems practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Outstanding communication skills at all levels (written and verbal)
  • Preferred Education and Experience :

  • 5+ years of previous experience in a quality related role in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong working knowledge of statistical analysis, six sigma techniques Green Belt or better a plus
  • Previous experience with manufacturing or product quality related data analytics such as process capabilities, SPC, pareto, or other related data
  • Experience with RMA and warranty related issues a plus
  • Minitab and Tableau knowledge is a plus
  • Outstanding communication skills at all levels (written and verbal)
