The Executive Manager, Marketing Campaign Strategy (Team Lead) is responsible for developing and executing marketing campaigns that guide and engage prospects and customers through every stage of their relationship with our company. This role ensures that we deliver cohesive and compelling campaign strategies that drive meaningful engagement and business results. As a player-coach, you'll lead strategy and execution for our most critical campaigns while managing and developing a team of three campaign strategists who handle lifecycle marketing across our College product portfolio. You'll develop and lead an AI-savvy campaign strategy team that knows how and when to intelligently use AI marketing tools to automate routine tasks and processes that enhance personalization, while maintaining strategic oversight to preserve our brand's authentic voice and human connection with our target audiences.

The Executive Manager, Marketing Campaign Strategy (Team Lead) translates business objectives into actionable campaign strategies that drive measurable growth and build lasting, passionate customer relationships. You'll ensure our marketing campaigns remain agile, scalable, and still genuinely human in an increasingly automated landscape. The Campaign Strategy Team Lead is accountable for positioning our marketing organization to compete effectively across today's complex, multi-channel environment while fostering a team culture of strategic thinking and tactical excellence that drives critical conversations and conversions. This role does not currently have managerial duties. This may change in the future to indirect supervision of Marketing Assistants and freelancers, based on business needs.

Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

Strategic Campaign Development & Execution

  • Develop comprehensive campaign strategies for major technology platform launches and key cross-disciplinary initiatives.
  • Lead end-to-end execution of high-priority campaigns from concept through analysis.
  • Create campaign frameworks and playbooks that can be scaled across the College product portfolio.
  • Design integrated multi-channel campaign approaches that align with customer lifecycle stages.
  • Collaborate with Performance Marketing, Brand Experience, Experiential Marketing, Field Marketing, and Product Marketing to ensure effective campaign coverage and execution.
  • Monitor campaign performance and make real-time strategic adjustments.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Manage, mentor, and develop three campaign strategists focused on prospect and customer marketing.
  • Conduct regular one-on-ones, performance reviews, and career development planning.
  • Provide strategic guidance and tactical support to team members on their assigned campaigns.
  • Recruit, onboard, and train new team members.
  • Set team goals, KPIs, and ensure accountability for campaign outcomes.
  • Ensure cohesion between campaign tactics managed by team members.
  • AI Strategy & Implementation

  • Identify opportunities to integrate AI tools for campaign automation and personalization.
  • Develop team capabilities and best practices for AI-powered marketing tools.
  • Create guidelines for maintaining brand voice and human connection while using AI.
  • Evaluate and recommend new AI marketing technologies and platforms.
  • Train team members on effective AI tool usage and strategic application.
  • Monitor AI implementation to ensure responsible use that enhances rather than replaces human creativity.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with Product Marketing, Field Marketing, Experiential Marketing, Program and Product Management stakeholders to align campaign strategies to business objectives and marketing specific needs.
  • Present campaign strategies and results to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with other marketing teams (Experiential, Digital, Events, Field) to execute thoughtfully-designed integrated campaigns.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and agency partners.
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions and contribute to broader marketing strategy.
  • Performance Analysis & Optimization

  • Synthesize campaign performance data and utilize actionable insights to enact strategic pivots based on performance data and market changes.
  • Co-develop campaign reporting dashboards and KPI tracking with PM&O partners.
  • Conduct post-campaign reviews and document learnings for future optimization.
  • Stay current on campaign strategy trends, best practices, and competitive landscape.
  • Qualifications

    Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience as a Marketing Manager.
  • 3-5 years experience with Multi-channel marketing campaign execution.
  • 4-6 years of Project management experience.
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Strong desire for Cross-functional collaboration.
  • Creative campaign direction.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Passionate about exploring the future of martech and AI-enhanced customer experiences, staying up-to-date on new platforms, trends, and capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead bold, high-stakes marketing campaigns with innovative approacheswilling to take calculated risks that push beyond conventional strategies.
  • Comfortable navigating rapidly evolving technology landscapes, adjusting strategy and execution under uncertainty while keeping performance outcomes in focus.
  • Strong Experience with Generative AI supported workflows.
  • Experience running effective pay-per-click (PPC) ad campaigns.
  • B2B marketing experience.
  • Salary Range : $100,000 - $120,000 / year

    Exemption Status : Exempt

    Physical Requirements :

    Requires periods of close concentration; must be able to multi-task; must be able to travel occasionally; work overtime - more than 40 hours a week regularly, as needed.

    The position is eligible for remote employment, excluding the following locations : Alaska, Arkansas, Hawaii, Mississippi, Nevada, South Dakota, West Virginia, Wyoming.
