We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Personal Trainer and Swim Lesson Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for health and fitness, along with a strong ability to teach and inspire individuals of all ages. This dual-role position involves providing personalized fitness training services and conducting swim lessons to clients of varying skill levels. The role requires a professional who is adept at designing customized exercise programs and swim instruction plans, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for all participants.

• Key Responsibilities :
• Personal Training :
• Assess clients' fitness levels and design personalized exercise programs tailored to their goals, needs, and abilities.
• Provide one-on-one training sessions, offering guidance on proper exercise techniques, form, and equipment use.
• Monitor clients' progress, adjusting programs as necessary to ensure continuous improvement and motivation.
• Educate clients on nutrition, lifestyle changes, and overall wellness to support their fitness goals.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of client progress and sessions.
• Swim Instruction :
• Conduct individual and group swim lessons for clients of all ages, from beginners to advanced swimmers.
• Develop and implement swim lesson plans that are engaging, educational, and tailored to each swimmer's skill level and goals.
• Teach proper swim techniques, water safety, and stroke development.
• Assess swimmers' progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills.
• Ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
• Client Engagement and Support :
• Build strong relationships with clients, fostering a positive and supportive training environment.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
• Promote fitness programs and swim lessons through various channels to attract and retain clients.
• Stay current with industry trends, certifications, and best practices to continuously enhance services provided.
• Administrative Duties :
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of facility policies and procedures.
• Assist with scheduling and coordinating training and swim lesson sessions.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities as required.
• Qualifications :
• Certification as a Personal Trainer from a recognized organization (e.g., NSCA CPT, NASM, CSCS, ACSM) and / or certification is required.
• Proven experience as a Personal Trainer with a track record of successfully working with clients of various skill levels.
• Strong knowledge of exercise physiology, nutrition, and swim techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire clients.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement effective fitness and swim programs.
• CPR / AED certification and first aid training is required.
• Physical Requirements :
• Ability to demonstrate exercises and swim techniques.
• Physical stamina to perform sessions.
• Capability to handle the physical demands of training and teaching activities.
• Work Environment :
• The position will require working in a fitness center or pool environment.
• Flexibility in scheduling, including evenings and weekends, may be necessary.
