Position Highlights Effectively and efficiently plans visit content and schedule based on client capabilities, condition, preferences (when possible), physician orders and available resources. Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal. State and local laws and regulations, the Organizational Integrity Program, Code of Ethics, as well as agency policies and procedures and adheres in a manner that reflects honest, ethical, and professional behavior. Performs specific treatments and administers medications to implement the medical and nursing care plans. Apply appropriate preventive, therapeutic, and rehabilitative nursing procedures, and techniques to clients. Phlebotomy and wound care experience required. Must have passed National Association Practical Nurse Exam (NAPNES) or equivalent medication exam before administering medications. Must possess interpersonal skills sufficiently to interact effectively with clients and their families as well as all interdisciplinary caregivers, peers, subordinates and supervisors. Must have current Driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from worksite.
