Job Title : Data & AI Solutions Engineer

About the Role :
We’re seeking a versatile Data & AI Solutions Engineer to modernize how we use data across the organization. Reporting to the Digital Intelligence Manager, you will develop and maintain our data lake, deliver actionable insights through dashboards and reports, support our next-generation claims system, and drive AI and automation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, build, and maintain a scalable data lake environment using medallion architecture (Bronze / Silver / Gold layers)
- Develop and manage robust ELT pipelines integrating multiple data sources (claims, finance, risk, prevention services)
- Automate data refresh processes ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and security
- Build and maintain BI dashboards and reports using Power BI and other tools to support business units and executives
- Collaborate with IT and vendors to support and enhance claims management systems, including data migrations and testing
- Identify, develop, and deploy AI and automation solutions to improve efficiency and compliance
- Develop custom scripts and lightweight applications to streamline operational workflows
- Ensure data governance, quality, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations (HIPAA, FERPA, CMS)
- Train and support staff in data tools and reports to promote self-service analytics
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field preferredMinimum 3 years of experience in data engineering or a similar roleStrong hands-on experience with SQL and PythonProficiency with Power BI and familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Services preferredExperience with relational databases, preferably SQL ServerFamiliarity with data lake architectures and ETL / ELT processesKnowledge of AI / ML frameworks or LLM-based automation a plusExperience with API integrations, containerization (Docker), and workflow automation (Power Automate) preferredStrong understanding of data governance, privacy, and compliance standardsExcellent communication skills and ability to bridge technical and non-technical audiencesSelf-starter mindset with a passion for continuous learning and innovationWork Environment :
