Gastroenterology Locums Job in North Carolina Weekend Call and Rounding Starting ASAP and Ongoing in 2025

Facility near Asheville, North Carolina, is experiencing a shortage of GI coverage. To supplement their local practice, they would like to start with locums coverage each week from Friday through Sunday. This service could grow to a more full time program as needed. Full time program could also include some outpatient clinic time.

Coverage : Friday to Sunday shifts

Details / Requirements for Assignment :

Active North Carolina license required

Board Certification in GI or Eligible

BLS certified or willing to obtain

Outpatient / Inpatient, Rounding

EMR : Athena and McKesson

ERCP required

On Call full time during shift. Fridays would include screening procedures. Call is beeper with 30 minute response time.

Patients per shift : 10+
