Responsibilities Position is within the Labor & Delivery unit of an acute care hospital Care involves high-risk obstetric (OB) patients and a culturally diverse population RNs circulate on cesarean sections Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 18 : 00 - 6 : 30) with every other weekend required Use of Epic EMR system required Floating required within the hospital and to affiliated nearby facilities No on-call requirements RNs are responsible for circulating in operative deliveries and supporting high-risk OB care First-time travelers are welcome to apply Travelers must be willing to float to sister facilities as needed Dress code allows any solid color scrubs, typically Royal Blue or Navy Holiday coverage required for two out of three major holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year Pre-assignment and annual online module completion required Former permanent staff must wait at least three months before returning as a traveler Requirements Active CA RN license required at time of consideration Minimum one year of Labor & Delivery RN experience required Certifications required : BLS, ACLS, NRP Epic EMR experience required Minimum of two supervisory references covering one year of recent comparable specialty experience Locals accepted within a 50-mile radius at adjusted rate Pending licenses not accepted Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-634049.
