Are you a compassionate and dedicated nurse looking to make a difference in the lives of patients with neurological conditions? We are seeking a Clinical Nurse III to join our Neurosciences & Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) - D5N. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic 21-bed unit, focusing on patients with conditions such as strokes, brain tumors, seizures, and neuromuscular diseases.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Implementing physician orders, administering medications, and performing treatments and procedures in alignment with company policy and regulations.
- Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions accurately.
- Assessing patient needs and evaluating responses to care rendered.
- Applying sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
- Providing primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
- Collaborating with the nursing team to create comprehensive care plans for all patients.
- Directing and guiding ancillary personnel to maintain high nursing standards.
Minimum Qualifications :
Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate)Current NYS Registered Nurse licenseBasic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required1-3 years of clinical RN experience, with at least 1 year in Telemetry or ICUA commitment to continuous education and improvement in job performanceFamiliarity with quality concepts and principles to enhance patient careJoin us in creating a caring environment for patients and their families.
