Job Description

Position : Maintenance Engineer II / Facilities Engineer II, Req# : CRNGJP00028579

Location : Corning, NY (100% Onsite)

Duration : 12+ Months Contract with the high possibility of extension

The manager is open to candidates who are nonlocal and willing to relocate at their own expense.

Interview process

1st Round : Virtual Phone Screen via TEAMS with the supervisor (30 minutes)

2nd Round : Panel Interview with 2-3 leaders via TEAMS (45-60 minutes). Local candidates may interview in person.

Job Description

This position is less hands-on. It is more advisory. General knowledge on all types of Facilities and maintenance equipment required (doesn't need to be an SME on anything specific). Candidates must have strong leadership skills that can go and audit locations and help give suggestions on how to standardize the client's maintenance / facilities organizations.

Education and Experience

• BS in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related technical degree strongly
• Minimum Experience : 3-5 years
• Experience working in a Maintenance / Facilities department within an actual Manufacturing Plant
• Working with a Computerized Maintenance Management System
• Maintaining Preventive Maintenance Schedules
• Troubleshooting manufacturing equipment
• Planning Work / Activities
• Supervising Trades
• Running Installation Projects (budgets / safety / schedule)
• Proficient in Operating Maximo.
• Experience with Smart sensors and evaluating their uses.
• Strong leadership / team skills
• Desire awareness of Industrial automation, such as PLC, OPC, SCADA, Historian, CMMS.
• Strong understanding of Maintenance measures / metrics.
