Saddleback Church is hiring : Communication Specialist in Lake Forest

The Connections Team at Saddleback Church is part of our Central Support Team, committed to serving all campuses to create a unified vision for Small Groups, Baptism, New Start, and Discover Your Purposes classes. The part time (20 hours) Communications Specialist will play a role in communicating this vision across campuses.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Develop and execute the communications strategy for the Connections central support team. This includes building relationships with teams across campuses as well as manage the distribution of small group newsletters and other communication pieces in addition to monitoring related analytics to Discover Your Purpose class, Small Groups, Baptism and New Start.
• Consult with the campus support team to develop and implement unified processes in small groups, CLASS and baptism as well as have a working knowledge of Small Group Network
• Collaborate with Web team to develop and manage webpage user experience and overall functionality across campus needs.
• Serve as the campus support team’s liaison to Saddleback’s Marketing / Communications team to represent and prioritize team needs, shepherd team projects, and maintain good working relationships.

Saddleback Church’s pay philosophy is based on internal and external data for pay equity, along with budgetary considerations for effective stewardship. Pay will start at $20.00-$22.00 per hour. We will provide a pay rate that is within our salary structure and that fits a candidate’s qualifications and experience for the job. A wage range posted is not a guarantee of a specific wage for a job offer.
