VP and General Manager of Wholesale Sales & Partnerships

Title : VP and General Manager of Wholesale Sales & Partnerships

Location : Remote / Pompano Beach, FL / Port Chester, NY

Compensation : The base salary range for this position is $250,000-$275,000.00, with eligibility for an annual bonus incentive.

The Position

We are seeking a highly strategic and results-driven Vice President & General Manager of Wholesale to navigate a new phase of growth through wholesale channel expansion. This executive role will oversee all aspects of the wholesale business — including strategy, operations, sales, marketing, and technology — with the goal of positioning the company as the manufacturer of choice for enterprise partners and independent window treatment dealers. The GM will serve as the business owner of the wholesale channel, creating a strategic roadmap, and driving both top-line growth and operational excellence to ensure long-term success.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute the wholesale division’s strategic plan, aligning with company-wide objectives.
  • Define growth priorities across enterprise partnerships and the independent dealer network.
  • Own P&L accountability for the wholesale business, balancing revenue growth, profitability, and investment prioritization.
  • Conduct resource management planning and execution to support the function’s performance.

Sales Growth and Market Expansion

  • Define and execute the wholesale strategy to accelerate revenue growth across enterprise accounts and independent dealers.
  • Understand partner needs and business models to create compelling value propositions and maintain a robust, qualified pipeline of prospective partners.
  • Determine optimal industry events, trade shows, conferences and meetings that will present the right partnership opportunities for the sales team.
  • Identify and secure partnerships with large-scale enterprises, national retailers, and regional distributors.
  • Build programs that make the company the preferred manufacturing partner for local window treatment dealers.
  • Negotiate agreements and programs that deliver mutual long-term value.
  • Operational Excellence

  • Define end-to-end wholesale operations, including order management, service, and partner support needs.
  • Partner with manufacturing to optimize quality, lead times, and cost efficiencies that meet wholesale partner needs.
  • Partner with supply chain to identify and source product needed to be competitive in offering and pricing.
  • Partner with Corporate IT to define the technology roadmap and champion digital transformation initiatives that enhance the partner experience and operational scalability – both for Wholesale as well as across overarching TSS eco-system.
  • Implement scalable processes, tools, and KPIs to drive performance and continuous improvement.
  • Marketing & Brand Development

  • Build and oversee wholesale marketing programs that enhance brand preference among enterprise accounts and local dealers.
  • Develop go-to-market campaigns, product launches, and partner enablement resources tailored to wholesale.
  • Partner with corporate marketing to ensure consistent messaging across channels.
  • Financial & Performance Accountability

  • Own wholesale P&L, revenue targets, and margin optimization.
  • Develop pro-active forecasting, reporting, and performance metrics to track channel growth and partner health.
  • Drive continuous improvement in pricing, programs, and service delivery.
  • Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and enhance competitive positioning.
  • Team Leadership

  • Build, develop, and inspire a high-performing wholesale team spanning sales, operations, and support functions.
  • Foster a data-driven culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer focus.
  • Ensure alignment between wholesale goals and broader company strategy.
  • What We Are Looking For

  • 12+ years of progressive experience in sales, wholesale, or business development; 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of managing a business unit or channel with full P&L responsibility and strong financial, analytical and operational acumen.
  • Success developing enterprise-level partnerships and driving channel growth.
  • Experience within home furnishings, building products, or adjacent industries strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to partner cross-functionally to bring ideas to reality.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution.
