Roles and Responsibilities :
- Lead boat operations training focused on advanced maritime navigation and tactical patrols
- Deliver instruction aboard MK VI Patrol Boats
- Ensure safe and effective training execution on waterborne missions
- Develop lesson plans, operational briefs, and debriefs
- Support mission readiness through simulated exercises and student evaluations
Qualifications :
Active state driver's licenseFour (4) years of small boat / craft tactical experience in a maritime environment with proficiency in : Maritime Navigation, Tactical Boat Operations, and Military decision-making processes (Begin, Arrange, Make, Complete, Issue, Supervise (BAMCIS); Organizational and individual planning; Tactical Boat Patrol Coordination; Development and issuance of Concept of Operations, Warning Order, Patrol Order, and Mission DebriefingQualified Navy Second Class Swimmer or equivalentLine Coach (LC) / Range Safety Officer (RSO) qualificationsRecord of PQS qualifications in all CORIVFOR weapons and weapon systemsMK VI Patrol Boat qualification requiredU.S. Coast Guard 50 Ton (or higher) Captain License requiredMust possess one of the following :NEC 9502 / 805A Instructor
