Position Overview
The Service Project Manager will oversee and coordinate service projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet quality standards, timelines, and budgetary requirements. This role is crucial in providing excellent customer service and driving the successful delivery of renovations and retrofits in mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee multiple service projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and team members to define project scopes, goals, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular project meetings to communicate progress and address any issues or changes that arise.
- Prepare and present project updates to stakeholders, including financial reports and performance metrics.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the service, renovation, or construction sectors.Strong knowledge of HVAC, mechanical systems, plumbing, and sheet metal work.Proven experience in managing commercial construction projects.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.Proficient in project management software and tools.Certification in Project Management (PMP or equivalent) is preferred.Benefits
