Summary :

Apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, and verify lifecycle-balanced systems for Communications Satellites Command and Control architectures , platform development, and network infrastructure.

Evaluate customer and operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, ensuring compatibility across all physical, functional, and program interfaces.

Conduct technology trade studies , identify evaluation criteria, and perform cost and feasibility analyses .

Perform system-level analyses to optimize mission performance, affordability, reliability, maintainability, testability, systems integration, survivability, and system security .

Develop and manage requirements management processes , tools, and risk / opportunity tracking.

Resolve cross-functional technical issues to maintain project alignment and technical integrity.

Requirements :

Ability to obtain a security clearance

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry.

9+ years of related work experience OR 3+ years with a Master's degree .

Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles, processes, and tools.

Experience with Jira and Confluence .

Proven experience designing systems-of-systems communication architectures .

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications :

Basic satellite mission operations experience.

Experience with requirements definition, allocation, and decomposition .

Knowledge of DOORS and requirements management processes.

Understanding of satellite telemetry, command and control architectures , and ground control software .

Familiarity with satellite ground stations and network integration.
