Join Kids FIRST as our Operations Director and help drive organizational excellence. This role oversees daily operations, supervises the Intake and Scheduling Team, and leads projects that strengthen service delivery and agency systems. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Program and Clinical Operations Management (70%) :
Oversee daily clinical operations to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery for children and families
Manage the electronic health record (EHR) and case management systems, including staff training, data quality, and compliance reportingLead agency-wide initiatives, operational improvements, and policy implementation projectsDirect program evaluation, maintain documentation, and ensure accurate reporting and client-facing resourcesRepresent the organization in the absence of the Executive DirectorTeam Supervision, Coverage, and Cross-Training (20%) :Supervise and develop the Intake and Scheduling Team, providing guidance, feedback, and support
Coordinate cross-training and coverage across direct services to ensure operational flexibilityFoster team collaboration, support change management, and encourage innovationAssist with facility management, including building maintenance, safety, and upkeepGrant Reporting, Community Engagement and Fundraising (10%) :Support grant development and program proposals to expand child abuse intervention services
Represent Kids FIRST at community events, meetings, and public forums, including presentations and speaking engagementsAssist with fundraising, advocacy, and community outreach effortsQualifications and Skills :
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in social work, healthcare, public administration or related field and 4 years of professional experience in that field; ORMaster's degree from an accredited college or university in social work, healthcare, public administration or related field and 2 years of professional experience in that field; ANDAt least 2 years of supervisory experience; ORAny satisfactory combination of work, education, training, or experience relevant to the position, as determined by Kids FIRSTExperience coordinating cross-functional teams or projectsExcellent written and spoken communication skills, including public speaking, with a talent for engaging varied and diverse stakeholdersAble to assess situations thoughtfully, take initiative, and make challenging decisions when needed.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database systems; experience with EHR and case management systems (such as NCAtrak) is a plus.Proven ability to implement vision, think strategically, creatively solve problems, exercise good judgment and lead change.Strong leadership skills with a collaborative, inclusive management style.Perks and Benefits :
