Cornerstone Assistant Program Director

Roads to Success (RTS) facilitates a variety of youth programs including after-school, summer camps, retreats, conferences and summer employment opportunities reaching thousands of young people throughout NYC each year. At the core of our programs are staff training strategies that enable our young professionals to develop extraordinarily meaningful relationships with the young people in their care who we call Our Future Leaders because that is what they all are.
The Cornerstone Assistant Program Director plays a pivotal role at Roads to Success, dedicated to the overall development, implementation, and supervision of the Boston Secor Community Center, while enhancing the well-being and success of our students and their families, particularly those living at or below the poverty line. This role encompasses the management and coordination of a comprehensive array of high-quality innovative programming for our elementary, middle school, high school and adult participants. A key aspect of this position involves developing community partnerships and leverage resources.

Compensation : $53k-57k annually

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in youth services, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
Familiarity with the community, key stakeholders, and available resources.
Experience in designing, planning, and implementing structured programs.
Supervisory experience with more than 5 program staff.
Budget, contract, and grant management experience.
Knowledge of the public education system and positive youth development practices.
Familiarity with DYCD programming regulations and online systems.
NYC Dept. of Health fingerprint clearance and State Central Registry (SCR) clearance.
NYS Food Handler's Certificate.
CPR and Advanced First Aid certification.
Working Conditions
Work takes place in the Gun Hill Community Center. Travel via public transportation or car may be required throughout NYC.
