NOW HIRING

The position we currently have open requires you to have the following licenses or certifications :

Medication Administration

ADA

Emergency Preparedness

90 Hour School Age Curriculum and Development

First Aid and CPR.

Locations : . CENTREVILLE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL 213 HOMEWOOD AVE CENTREVILLE MD

Schedule : No WEEKENDS-Monday-Friday AM Hours : 6 : 15am-9am PM Hours 3 : 15pm-6pm. Must be available to work all half days, delayed openings and summer camp days.

If not certified but if you have experience / college we do provide Training certification of 45 hours school age and 45 hours growth and development for promotion to Group Leader . Must complete in 6 weeks.

The position we currently have open requires you to have the following licenses or certifications :

Pay & Benefits :

As an AlphaBEST Captain , you'll be trained to do the following :

  • Lead a fun and dedicated team of Guides that deliver excitement to our student Explorers in fitness, the arts, technology, and more!
  • Work collaboratively with peers and the Leadership Team to manage all aspects of the program site.
  • Train AlphaBEST Guides on how to lead adventurous tasks that ignite children's sense of wonder.
  • Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by establishing clubs that build on students' interests and talents.
  • Provide a caring, family-oriented environment where positive staff, child, parent, and school relationships are fostered at your program site.

    • Here's what you'll need :

  • Must have 90- hour certification in school age programs OR a degree in child care or teaching. 1 year experience working directly with children in an approved setting( registered child care home, licensed child care center, nursery, school, church or similar setting)
  • Must be at least 21years old
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
  • Must be able to successfully complete a background check as required by state childcare licensing regulations
  • Provide proof of experience as required by state childcare licensing standards
