JOB SUMMARY

The Sterile Processing Supervisor works with minimal supervision to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the Sterile Processing Department. This role reports directly to the Sterile Processing Manager. The Sterile Processing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and ensuring efficient workflow, compliance with departmental protocols, and the safety of the staff and patients.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

Required

High School Diploma

5 years experience as a Sterile Processing Technician

(CRCST) CRCST with Healthcare Processing Association (HSPA) or CBSPD equivalent Upon Hire and

(CHL) CERTIFIED HEALTHCARE LEADER with Healthcare Processing Association (HSPA) or CBSPD equivalent within 1-1 / 2 Yrs and

(CIS) CERTIFIED INSTRUMENT SPECIALST or Certified Endoscope Reprocessor with Healthcare Processing Association (HSPA) or CBSPD equivalent within 1-1 / 2 Yrs Preferred

3 years of previous supervisory or management experience JOB DUTIES
