Midland University, a small, private four-year institution in Fremont, Nebraska (just outside of metro Omaha), is seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach in-person psychology courses on campus. Responsibilities include preparing and delivering lectures, designing engaging classroom activities, providing timely feedback on assignments, and responding to student inquiries within 24-hours, meeting with them individually as needed. Courses are offered in 16-week terms. Terms begin in August and January.
Required Qualifications :
- A master's degree in psychology or a closely related discipline with 18 graduate hours in psychology
- Experience teaching at the college level or teaching / training adults is highly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications :
PhD or ABD (all but dissertation) statusExperience teaching in a synchronous and / or asynchronous online formatFamiliarity with the Canvas LMSThe ideal candidate should demonstrate :
