Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time position is for a Special Education Teacher supporting a middle school life skills classroom during the 2025-2026 school year. The classroom will have 4-6 students, supported by a classroom aide and 1 : 1 student support personnel. The role is based in Tinley Park, IL, and is offered as a contract position for the school year.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver individualized instruction tailored to the needs of middle school students in a life skills classroom setting
• Collaborate with classroom aides and 1 : 1 support staff to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
• municate regularly with parents, support staff, and administration to ensure student success
• Maintain classroom management and adherence to educational standards and guidelines
