Job description~2 heart cases / week ~2–3 lung cases / week Total : 5–6 cardiothoracic procedures / week Annual ER Volume : 45,000 patients / year Operating Rooms : 16 Patient Population : Adults & geriatrics Documentation : EPIC Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG) Arterial Revascularization (IMA, radial artery, gastroepiploic artery) Redo coronary revascularization (with or without valve surgery) Heart valve repair & replacement Mitral valve repair Heart valve replacement without surgery (CoreValve® System) Thoracotomy lung biopsy Thoracotomy lung resections & pneumonectomy Thoracotomy decortication Chest wall resection & reconstruction Mediastinal surgery Mediastinotomy & biopsy Tube thoracostomy Pericardial window Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery Active Indiana medical license (or ability to obtain) Strong experience in high-acuity adult cardiac and thoracic cases
Schedule & Coverage
- Shift : 24-hour call
- Dates Needed : December 22 – January 5
- Potential : Ongoing intermittent / supplemental coverage
