Special Education Teacher Self-Contained Social-Emotional Learning Program

Location : Illinois Full-Time 37.5 Hours / Week School Year

Clarifi Staffing Solutions is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join an elementary self-contained program focused on social-emotional learning (SEL) and behavioral support. This full-time school-year position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping students build essential emotional regulation and coping skills in a structured supportive environment.

In this role you will work closely with a small group of students who have individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and benefit from direct instruction in emotional and behavioral regulation. Youll collaborate with a multidisciplinary teamincluding paraprofessionals school counselors and related service providersto create a classroom culture that emphasizes consistency respect and growth.

Position Overview :

• Foster strong relationships with students families and colleagues to ensure collaborative support.
• Implement and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) to promote positive behavioral outcomes.
• Create a safe engaging learning environment that encourages self-awareness and emotional resilience.
• Develop and execute Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with each students needs and goals.
• Provide individualized and small-group instruction that supports academic and social-emotional development.
