Job Description :

The Process Technician is responsible for :

• Decisions concerning troubleshooting and material.
• Ensuring production parts meet or exceed the Quality approved samples and customer guidelines.
• Overseeing the activities of the Supervisor and Assistant Supervisor.
• Maintaining machine efficiencies, utilization, and scrap according to written and known standards.
• Reporting needed maintenance or repairs for production and departmental equipment.
• Troubleshoot process problems to minimize machine downtime and scrap.
• Support companywide quality improvement efforts.
• Analyze and develop techniques to improve processes.
• Make recommendations to improve safety, housekeeping, and machine utilization.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and training

Managerial Requirements

One to Five years of experience in production related activities and supervision of personnel in the Plastics Industry.
